Little Engines is a new program that provides families access to fun, educational, and interactive family engagement activities. These activities will be sent home weekly and families can complete them on their own time.  Families have access to a digital library of activities on a variety of topics to earn badges, including learning through:

  • nature
  • social emotional development
  • literacy
  • play
  • mindfulness
  • similarities and differences
  • mental health
  • STEM
  • active learning
  • sensory learning

Each participating family receives a bag with books and supplies to complete each activity.  Families also track reading minutes on Beanstack throughout the program.  This program is intended for kids age 3-6 and their families. This is a pilot project in partnership with Boone Ericson Public Library and their partners.

Intended for ages 3-6. Not sure if your child is eligible? Contact Dylan at or call the library at 382-2628
