Adult Reading Challenge 2024
Explore the wonderful world of books with the Nevada Public Library!
All you have to do is read a book from 12 of our 18 selected genre categories over 12 months and log your progress. There are also 6 bonus categories that will be revealed individually in January, March, May, July, September, and November. You can read books and categories in any order - there are no assigned months.
Books, audiobooks, and eBooks all count.
The goal is to expand your reading horizons, so a different book must be read for each different category.
You can always play catch-up! If you don't register until November, you can still read 12 books before the end of 2024 and be eligible for a prize.
Avid readers that read more than 12 books can qualify for different prize levels based on how many they read. Prizes will be announced later in the year.
- Bronze Level: 12-16 books
- Silver Level: 17-20 books
- Gold Level: 21-23 books
- Platinum Level: 24+ books
The contest begins on January 1, 2024 and ends December 31, 2024.
