Do you have ash trees?  Are you worried about the Emerald Ash Borer?

The Nevada Public Library and the Iowa State University Extension Office will be co-sponsoring a talk by Mark Shour (presenter from ISUEO) about the Emerald Ash Borer on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 6:30 pm at the Nevada Public Library.

The Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) has been found in Iowa and in Story County.  What is the Emerald Ash Borer? How do I know if my trees are infested? If my tree does have the EAB, what are my options? What are the treatments? Will I have to cut down my tree? Mark will answer these and other questions on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 6:30 pm in the Meeting Room at the Nevada Public Library. For more information, contact the Nevada Public Library at 515-382-2628 or the ISU Extension Office at 515-382-6551.
