Welcome to the Nevada Public Library e-newsletter for March.

Join the Fun …Travel at the library
Visit the White House…hail a cab in New York City…jazz it up in New Orleans…lasso a calf on a western ranch…find a starfish in a tidepool…
How, you may ask, are you able to travel to these fine destinations?
Simply by visiting the Nevada Public Library during Spring Break, March 15th – 19th, from 2:30 p.m.– 3:30 p.m. Travel itinerary includes stories, poems and activities. Programs are for children ages 5-10 years old. Please call to sign your child or children up one or more days during this free Spring Break event. (515-382-2628)
Your travel itinerary:
Monday March 15th  - Share in our nations history by visiting the White House and the Vietnam Wall in Washington D.C.
Tuesday March 16th  - Taxi your way through the bustling streets of New York City to the Empire State Building.
Wednesday March 17th  - Jazz it up in New Orleans, home to some of the best Jazz Music.
Thursday March 18th  - Live the life of a cowhand on a ranch out west .
Friday March 19th  - Be ready for Panda Mania and search the tide pools of a California beach.

Reading Group to discuss ‘The Shack’
‘The Shack’ by William P. Young became a rapid bestseller and has been an inspiration for many. You have a chance to discuss this book with others when the Nevada Public Library Reading Group meets on Thursday March 25th at 1:30pm. Ask for a copy of the book at the Main Desk 

The winners of the Valentine’s Day were Chase Hellyer and Mary Brown. Chase and Mary each won a Nevada Public Library bag stuffed with candies, coffee, hot chocolate, NPL mugs and a gift certificate for a free book.
We had over 380 entries, so if you were not a winner this time, look out for future drawings!

Games Computer
Take a look at the games added to the new games computer.
Games include:

· Word Munchers
