We seek a creative, detail-oriented, tech-savvy individual to provide excellent customer service in a busy, evolving library environment. The right person will create, schedule, and distribute marketing materials; repair damaged items; and maintain engaging displays. Shared employee duties include staffing the circulation desk, assisting patrons, supervising programs, and shelving materials.

Qualifications: This is an entry-level position. Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent. Helping library patrons requires intermediate use and troubleshooting of technology, including library-specific software, internet browsers, Microsoft Office programs, and digital devices and apps.
Hours and Pay: 20 hours per week; $15.10 per hour. The position earns prorated sick, vacation, and holiday leave, as well as IPERS benefits in accordance with the City of Nevada's personnel handbook. Schedule may include opening, closing, and weekend shifts, with occasional off-hours programming needs.
